Our Why

Enable Holdings (ENABLE) is a ‘dare to be’ project an organisation started to live out the essence of isithakhazelo sakwa Mazibuko,

’wena owangena nesikhuni emanzini waphuma naso sivutha (you the one who went into the waters with a burning log and came out on the other side with the burning log still on fire – bravery, defying logic)…wena ongaweli ngezibuko, owela ngezihlangu zamadoda (you who creates their own path, Boldy pioneering new ways)…ngoba nakhu esevula izibuko (because you enable other, creating bridges for others to cross).

When the meaning of isithakazelo sasekhaya finally landed in my spirit ENABLE was born and a call to action – TO ENABLE OTHERS activated.

PONELOPELE Innovation Hub

PONELOPELE was created in response to the high levels of unskilled and unemployed youth in rural South Africa, particularly in the North West province. This skills centre aims to educate, equip, and empower young people, ensuring they are workforce-ready or capable of launching their own businesses.

We believe in the power of learning, re-learning, and unlearning. Our mission is to create opportunities for young people to gain new skills, access valuable networks, and deepen their expertise in their chosen fields.

We provide a platform for exposure to new concepts, hands-on training, and personal development, ensuring that each individual is equipped to thrive in today’s evolving job market

We are actively working on partnerships with institutions to expand program offerings, either as an official satellite campus or through private college accreditation.

WIFI IS LIFI

We’re bridging the digital divide and democratizing access to knowledge and innovation through the installation of free WiFi to TVET colleges.

As the UN recognizes internet access as a basic human right, we’re empowering students with the tools they need to succeed. Being connected unlocks a world of possibilities: students can conduct research for assignments, collaborate with peers globally, and drive personal development.

The internet is a catalyst for innovation, enabling students to explore new ideas, access cutting-edge resources, and unlock their full potential. By connecting students, we’re connecting futures..

The South African National Artisan Awards

Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) students are the backbone of the economy. They are tomorrow’s hope to ensure a sustainable future in employment, innovation and creation.

The South African National Artisan Awards (SANAAs) are the central thread that ties together the programs, participants, and partners that weave the tapestry of the technical vocational space. They unify the TVET community in a shared mission to enhance the quality and impact of vocational education.

These Awards stand as a prestigious platform designed to honour and celebrate outstanding institutions and their artisans who have made remarkable contributions to the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) space in South Africa. They are a beacon of recognition, for organisations, industry and governmental departments that are leading the charge to catalyze positive change in the sector.
